ORANGE PULAV

                                                    

                                             ORANGE PULAV

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

Basmathi Rice- ½ cup
Orange Juice- ¾ cup
Milk- ¾ cup
Brinji leaf- 1
Sombu/ Fennel Seeds-1/2 spoon
Pudina Leaves- as per need
Cardamom- 2
Cinnamon stick- 1
Onion- 1chopped(big)
Green Chilly-3
Ghee-  4 to 5 spoon
Ginger Garlic Paste- 1 spoon

PREPARATION METHOD:
  • Take a pressure cooker and add ghee to it.
  • Heat ghee and add brinji leaf, cardamoms, cinnamon stick, sliced Onions and ginger-garlic paste. 
  • Saute till the onions turn golden brown.
  • Add green chillies, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, shredded orange rinds and saute for 2 mins.
  • Add Pudina to it.
  • Add the basmati rice to it and mix well.
  • Add the Orange juice and milk to it and Add 1/2 tsp salt and mix well.
  • Allow the cooker for 4 whistles and allow it to 5minutes.
  • Serve this hot and tasty Orange Pulav.
