HEALTH MIX CARROT KHEER



HEALTH MIX CARROT KHEER/ SATTHU MAAVU CARROT KHEER/:

·        INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR HEALTHMIX POWDER:

  •    Pearl Millet-Kambu -1 kg
  •   Finger millet-Ragi -1 kg
  •    Green gram-Pachai Payaru -1/2 kg
  •    Red Rice-Sigapu arisi-1/4 kg 
  •    Roasted gram-pottukadalai -1/4 kg
  •    Foxtail millet-thinai -1/2 cup (optional)
  •    Horse Gram-Kollu - 100 grams
  •    Barley -100 grams
  •    Almonds -25 
  •    Cashew nuts -10
  •    Peanuts -100 grams
  •    Cardamom -6
  •    Dry ginger-sukku -1 inch piece


    INGREDIENTS NEEDED FOR GHEER:
  •    Carrot – 100gms(Make it to juice)
  •    Sugar- 150 gms(as per need)
  •    Health mix Powder- 2 spoons

Preparation Method for making Health mix Powder:
  •                Dry roast all the ingredients (except cardamom) separately until you get a nice aroma of roasted ingredients. Spread the roasted ingredients on a plate to cool. Then mix everything together. Get it ground in a flour mill to a fine powder. Spread it on a plate to cool and then store it in an air tight container or stainless steel container. Health mix powder is ready.
 Preparation of Healthmix Carrot Kheer:

o   Prepare carrot juice with the carrot cleaned.
o   Take a pan. Add 3 cup of water to it.
o   After get boiled, Add the 2 spoon of Health mix Powder to it and stir it  Well.
o   After it get boiled, add one cup of milk to it and allow it to boil with that. Add carrot juice to it. Add sugar with it and stir it well until it gets to gheer format.
o   Now the healthy mix carrot kheer get ready. Its very good to children.
