Fish Recipe
Ingredients:
- Fish - 1/2 kg ( Any fish)
- Oil – As per need
- Onion – 200gms small chopped finely
- Tomato – ½ kg(Make it to juice)
- Tamarind water- one cup(two lemon size tamarind should use)
- Curry Leaves
- Coriander powder- 3 spoon
- Green Chilly- 5(cut in to long pieces)
- Red Chilly-5 to 6
- Ginger- 30gms(cut into long pieces)
- Mustard seed/Kadugu- 1 spoon
- Coconut milk- one cup
- Fenugreek seeds/vendhayam- one spoon
- Chilli powder- two to three spoon
- Turmeric powder- one spoon
- Perungayam Powder- half spoon
- Cumin seeds- one spoon
Preparation:
- Take a pan and add 100 ml of oil in to it.
- Add kadugu , Vendhayam, Cumin seeds, Curry leaves one by one and allow it to fry it.
- Add Red chilli and green chilli one by one get fried.
- Add ginger pieces and cook until it gets completely fried.
- After that add chopped onion to it and make it to fry for few minutes.
- Then add Corainder Powder, Chilly powder and turmeric powder to it.
- Add perungayam powder to it.
- Add Tamarind water to it.
- Add some amount of water and salt to it and allow it to cook for few minutes.
- After cook well, add the tomato juice to it and cook it for 5 minutes.
- Now its time to add the cleaned fish.
- Add fish one by one to the cooking pan.Then at last add the coconut milk the gravy. Close the pan and Allow it to cook for 5 more minutes.
- Now the hot spicy fish gravy/kulambu ready to serve. We can use any fish for this recipe.
- This recipe is very tasty and can be serve with rice.
