New software- WordLens


In the world, there are so many languages are used for people communication. All need some translators to know the unknown languages.
Here  there is a new software named “WORDLENS” to overcome this trouble.
It helps people to communicate very easily. 

Word Lens was an augmented reality translation application from Quest Visual. Word Lens used the built-in cameras on smartphones and similar devices to quickly scan and identify foreign text (such as that found in a sign or a menu), and then translate and display the words in another language on the device's display. The words were displayed in the original context on the original background, and the translation was performed in real-time without connection to the internet. This Software speciality is without internet connection, the translation can made quite easily.
For Example, a man walking along the road. At that time, he watching the name board of the address. The address is in some other language that he don’t know. So people don’t want to worry about that. By taking a photo of that letters is quite enough to know that in our known languages.
So that it named WORDLENS Translator.
Google wants to get that WORDLENS software from the developed sector. So Google bought the Quest Visual Company.
Using this method, google starts translation  tool  free for all users.

First, It starts to translate from Spanish to English and From English to Spanish Alone. But now more than 27 languages can translated using this software.

PEERKANGAI PORIYAL -RIDGE GOURD STIR FRY RECIPE

INGREDIENTS NEEDED
  •    Peerkangai-Ridge gourd -1/4 kg or 4 cups peeled and cubed
  •    Green chilli - 4 
  •   Chilly Powder -1 tsp
  •    Salt needed
  •    Grated coconut -1/4 cup
  •    Corainder Seeds - 50 gms
  •    Mustard Seed- 1 tsp
  •    Curry Leaves- few



PREPARATION:
Peel the skin of ridge gourd, remove the seeds and cut it into cubes.


Heat a pan and add  some ghee in to it.
Add Corainder seeds and fry it thoroughly.
After get fried allow it cool and grind it.
Then In another pan heat Ghee and roast the Ridge gourd by adding salt to it .
On Another side, grind the following ingredients separately.
Grated   Coconut, Chilly Powder, Green Chilly.
Now add the grinded coriander to the frying vegetables.
Mix it well and add the other grinded coconut, chilly and chilly powder to it. And also add some salt to it.
Mix it and allow it to cook for few minutes.
Heat some oil in a pan and add mustard seeds , curry leaves. After it get fried,add the cooked vegetable to it and mix it.
 Now the hot Ridge gourd fry get ready to serve.

ROASTED ONION WINGS



ROASTED ONION WINGS

 INGREDIENTS:

  • Maida Flour- 2 spoon
  • Gram Flour(Kadalai Mavu)- ½ spon
  • Corn flour- 1 spoon
  • Onion- 1(big)
  • Omam-1 spoon
  • Black pepper- small amount
  • Salt-As per need
  • Soda- one small cup

Preparation:
  • Take a bowl and add Maida  Flour to it. Add Gram Flour  and Corn Flour to it.
  • Crush the Omam  and add to it.
  • Add black pepper powder to it and mix it well by adding some water to it.
  • Then add soda  and mix it well till it get ready to merge the onion wings to it.  Soda adds flavour to the onion wings.
  • Add Salt  as per need.
  • Take a pan and add oil to fry it.
  • Cut the onion in to rings  as shown and dip in the mixture.

  •  After the oil get heated, put one by one onion rings to it.
  • Wait still it get fried and take the wings.
  • Now the  hot spicy onion wings get ready to serve.We can serve this dish to children as snacks.


CORAINDER MINT KULAMBU



CORAINDER MINT KULAMBU

          Mint leaves (Pudhina) are very good for stomach ache and it cure the chest pains. It cures all stomach ailments including indigestion. It has many medical properties. Corainder Leaves helps in lowering blood glucose levels in diabetics.
It also helps in digestion, helps settle an upset stomach and prevent flatulence.

Ingredients Needed:

  • Corainder Leaves- Small bunch
  • Mint Leaves- Small bunch
  • Red Chillies- 4
  • White Ulundu- 2 spoon
  • Tomato- 2
  • Onion- 100gms
  • Black Grams- 1 spoon
  • Curry Leaves- few


Preparation:

  • Take a pan and add one spoon of oil to it. Fry the Ulundu by adding it.
  • Then Add onion, tomato to it and wait until onion gets light brown colour.
  • Add Red chilly to it.
  • Then wash the  coriander and mint leaves and add to it and  fry it.
  •  Allow it to cook for  few minutes.
  • Then allow it to make cool and grind all the above fried ingredients by adding salt to it.
  •  After grind, take a pan and add oil to it.
  • Add Black mustard seed to it and curry leaves and fry it.
  • Now add the grinded paste to it and add water as per requirement.
  • Allow it get boil for few minutes.
  • Now the hot Corainder Mint kulambhu get ready. It can be serve with dosa and idli.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

Basmathi Rice- ½ cup
Orange Juice- ¾ cup
Milk- ¾ cup
Brinji leaf- 1
Sombu/ Fennel Seeds-1/2 spoon
Pudina Leaves- as per need
Cardamom- 2
Cinnamon stick- 1
Onion- 1chopped(big)
Green Chilly-3
Ghee-  4 to 5 spoon
Ginger Garlic Paste- 1 spoon

PREPARATION METHOD:
  • Take a pressure cooker and add ghee to it.
  • Heat ghee and add brinji leaf, cardamoms, cinnamon stick, sliced Onions and ginger-garlic paste. 
  • Saute till the onions turn golden brown.
  • Add green chillies, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, shredded orange rinds and saute for 2 mins.
  • Add Pudina to it.
  • Add the basmati rice to it and mix well.
  • Add the Orange juice and milk to it and Add 1/2 tsp salt and mix well.
  • Allow the cooker for 4 whistles and allow it to 5minutes.
  • Serve this hot and tasty Orange Pulav.
